Pop-Dance Singer-Songwriter MumbleBee Releases Hit Single “Cut You Loose”

[Atlanta, GA – March 3, 2023] – Today, singer-songwriter MumbleBee releases hit track “Cut You Loose”, her first single with MTM Standard – Georgia State University’s new in-house label. The track takes off with an irresistible baseline, blossoming into a sure-fire alternative anthem. MumbleBee’s sound is an intricate cross between Pop and Dance, with key elements of Classical. Cut You Loose is available now on all streaming platforms.

Her sonic inspirations and vibe are akin to artists like ChloeXHalle, Coi Leray, Doja Cat, Pink Patheress, BKthaRula and Rico Nasty. She has been featured in BKthaRula’s Tweaking Together music video, choreographed for Jacob Latimore and Chris Lee, as well as performed with the Atlanta Symphony and Andrea Bocelli.  

Explaining the story behind her name and its significance, MumbleBee affectionately shares, “I actually got MumbleBee from my cousin. We were working in the studio and normally when I sing, I’ll hum all the harmonies out, the stacks and everything, and he told me I was mumbling but sounded like a bee. We looked at each other and joked ‘Mumblebee?!’… and I ran with it!”
